Seo for dental websites is really the same as seo for all types of sites. Seo stands for search engine optimization and is about the process of getting the search engines to recognize and feature your website in their organic search results. Organic search results are the non-sponsored results on Google, Yahoo and MSN. You don’t have to pay to be there and you don’t have to pay per click. That actually not completely true because to be successful at Seo you certainly will have to invest a great deal of time, to or pay someone for their time, to promote your site to the various search engines. Good seo involves giving the search engines what they want, Lots of fresh relevant content, lots of relevant links to your website, hopefully by respected and page ranked sites, but all truly relevant links are welcome. One can develop links by submitting your website to directories. Although some good directories have a fee for being listed but listed .there are plenty of free directories where your site can be listed and develop links. You often can develop links by participating in user forums, like our own and leaving a signature (Please visit http://www.metrodentist.net). The search engines like sites devoted to the keywords in the search, so your site should be generously peppered with those words on all pages. This doesn’t imply that you should over do it because the search engines will eventually penalize or ban sites that are blatantly “key word stuffing”.
